Monhegan Fish House

Monhegan Island, maine is a painter's paradise.
This building sits on Fish Beach at the harbor.
I have seen this scene painted many times since I painted it but I painted this in 1957.

Your painting of Main is excellent ! I was once in Portland, Maine and had nothing to do for three days and there was a nice shop for paint supplies. Got some acrylic and paper and drew one lighthouse - Maine reflects the true American countryside - the sea food - crab cakes and more are simply out of this world :)
Love and more...

The Sparrow.

I read your mail - Cocos island is not the place I stay - as my profile says I am a pirate - so I selected 'Cocos Island' :)

I live in India but travel a lot - I went to Maine to drop my daughter at the Photography Workshop for a film making course. I will write a big mail to you shortly.

Take care :)
